  1. Doordash announced their expansion into fulfillment - they join UniUni, Ontrac, GLS, Veho, and others in trying to dethrone FedEx and UPS. For brands, all of these options are becoming more viable. [Read More]

  2. There is a new freight lane from China to Europe via the Arctic Ocean. To be determined how this impacts the market, but nonetheless exciting. [Read More]

  3. Veho announced expansion to the greater Los Angeles area, and now covers 38% of the USA. I haven’t used them yet, but after talking to one of their team members, they seem like they are focused on steady growth and have built a sustainable business model. [Read More]

The parcel duopoly is coming to an end. UPS and FedEx are telling us as much. By diversifying their businesses. Delivery is becoming more commoditized. Delivery distance is shrinking. And taking margins with it. UPS is making a big bet on healthcare. UPS is shedding unprofitable volume. UPS is rightsizing its network. FedEx is staking its claim to healthcare market share.
